Visiting Patrick AFB and Cape Kennedy
This morning I took off from the Youngstown Air Reserve Base with fellow members of the Youngstown Base Community Council on an informational trip. We will be traveling to Patrick AFB and Cape Kennedy in Florida. While down there I will be spending time learning about how important military spending is to the development of local communities. In addition to the growth and development military bases provide to communities like the Mahoning Valley.
I will also talk to people in order to better understand how the military contracting process works. My goal here is to learn all that I can about federal military contracting so that I can create legislation which will help ensure that taxpayer moneys allotted for military base development are spent on American businesses first.
I am still frustrated at the lack of work done by the congressional delegations from Ohio on behalf of the employees at Summitville Tile. I believe that if those people who claim to represent us are unable to find a solution to the problem than I will. I am not going to wait until after Election Day to make your voices heard on Capitol Hill. That is why I am working and have been working on creating solutions which will keep American dollars here in America.
I would love to come and learn about your business or visit your home and talk to your friends and family. If you would like to have me please email me at info@drallenforcongress.com and one of my staff will get back to you soon.
Thank you and God Bless
Donald Allen
