Local Organization Spotlight…Canfield Rotary

Last week I was the guest of Matt Lewis and the Canfield Rotary for their Friday Luncheon on Feb 12^th. The event was held at Fair Park in Canfield OH. The Rotary is a non-political organization whose main function is to improve the welfare of the community’s in which its members live. Their club rules prohibit political speeches or campaigning so my visit was an opportunity to talk about my book, “Tarawa – The Aftermath”. My comments on the book were well received and the club was incredibly welcoming to me and the members of my campaign. Thank you to President Sieglinde Warren and President Elect Dante Zambrini for their hospitality. I was particularly fond of their four guiding principles, which you can read here at their website: www.rotary.org.
